DIY Christmas hat, photo master class for entertainers

Such a merry New Year's hat will appeal not only to your children, but also perfect for an adult festive party. The festive atmosphere is created with the help of details: the scent of tangerines, a chic table, a Christmas tree and … funny caps. We bring to your attention a small master class on making this festive accessory.

To work you will need:

  • colored cardboard;
  • scissors;
  • tinsel, sparkles;
  • threads;
  • glue.

Surely everyone at least once independently made something similar. Therefore, you should not have any difficulties. This craft is so simple that even kids can do it without help. And in order for the process to go as quickly and fun as possible, we bring to your attention a master class.

  • Cut out the template onto the cardboard of the desired color. Roll into a cone and insert the protruding parts into the slots. The cap is almost ready! In order for it not to open at the most inopportune moment, carefully glue it around the edges.

  • Further, it all depends only on your imagination. Around the base, glue the tinsel, beautiful braid, or a custom-made edge trim with glue.

  • You can also attach a small piece of tinsel to the cap by making a so-called tassel.
  • Decorate the hat with glitter, lettering, or sparkly rhinestones. You can write beautifully "Happy New Year!" and decorate the letters with sparkles as well.

  • You can make them in the same style or completely different. Trust your imagination.
  • On the inside of the base of the product, fasten two threads, for greater reliability, carefully thread them with a needle through the cardboard. So they will not come off, and will tightly press the cap to the head.

If you have plenty of time to prepare, experiment. Tinsel pom-poms can be replaced with fabric ones or create something new and unique. Believe me, even such a simple decorative element as a New Year's hat can make the holiday sparkle with colors completely unexpected for you and your guests.
