Volumetric paper snowflakes, diagrams and master class

A voluminous snowflake can be a great alternative to store decorations. In addition, it is very easy to manufacture, you just need to put a little imagination. We bring to your attention a master class on making a New Year's decoration with your own hands.

For work you will need:

  • Paper;
  • Scissors;
  • Glue, double-sided tape, or glue gun.

It is better to use double-sided cardboard to create this decoration. Cut it into thin strips 5-7 mm wide.

Take 8 strips, 4 of which lay on a flat surface at the same distance.

Add 4 horizontal stripes to them, starting from the middle. This is done quite easily, using the so-called weaving. Remember to seal it all with glue. Thus, you should have a 5 * 5 square in the center. The tails should be about 4 cm.

The next stage of production is the most difficult, and we hope that the photos will help you. It is necessary to connect the side strips of each corner to each other. You will have a strip in the center, they will be needed to fasten the structure.

To complete the work, you will need two identical parts created in this way.

Lay them on top of each other so that you get an eight-pointed star. Connect the ponytails with glue and cut off the excess.

That's all! The volumetric snowflake is ready.

If such a craft turns out to be too difficult for your child, try making a snowflake from salt dough, you will definitely like it! :)

There can be many options for its manufacture. Let's take a look at one more of them. If you look at the photo, you will see - everything is very simple. Even a child can cope with this task.

  1. Take paper - shiny, matte, white or colored - of your choice, and cut a square out of it. Then fold it diagonally to form a small triangle.
  2. Fold the resulting shape in half again. We make two cuts along the side of the folds, not reaching the end.
  3. Expand and glue the central teeth together.
  4. Then everything is very simple, we turn the product over to the other side and glue the next row together, then turn it over again and re-fasten the teeth. That's all. One ray of snowflake is ready. Now you just have to repeat this procedure several times and fasten the rays together. The snowflake is ready.
