4 countries were ready to host the 2024 Summer Olympics, each of which offered its own venue for the event:
- Paris (France);
- Hamburg (Germany);
- Los Angeles (USA);
- Boston (USA);
- Budapest (Hungary).
There were other potential bidders from Asia, Africa, Europe and North America, but they never made an official application, although they initially voiced a desire to compete for the 2024 Games.
According to the voting results, the leaders are:
- Paris, which will host the next Olympic Games in 2024;
- Los Angeles, which is recognized as the official capital of the competition in 2028.
It is also known that the 2032 Games will be held in Australia. The city of Brisbane plans to host guests.

Symbols of 2024

Will Russia participate
With the suspension from Euro 2024 and the events taking place around, many want to know if Russia will be allowed to the 2024 Olympics.
There is no definite answer at the moment, but the likelihood that Russia and Belarus will miss the upcoming summer sports season is very high. At the moment, many world media say that they do not see athletes as participants in the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games, either as a team representative of the country, or as neutral players, because due to sanctions they will not be able to take part in the qualifying competitions, and in fact some of them scheduled for the end of 2022.
At the moment, the performance of athletes in a neutral status is possible in three areas: cycling, tennis and judo.
