Draw the symbol of the year - the Green Dragon
Important! According to the Chinese calendar, the patron of the coming year 2024 will be the symbol of imperial power - the Green Wooden Dragon, so the drawings for the New Year 2024 should be appropriate.
Chinese dragon
To make your New Year's drawings for 2024 unusual and convey the theme of the year, we suggest adding such a cute Dragon to the canvas. Our symbol of the year is made in yellow-orange colors, but you can draw it in shades of green.
Drawing algorithm:
Step 1. The Chinese Dragon has a long, sinuous, snake-like body, which is where we'll start our drawing. Draw the bottom line of the dragon's body, as in the photo, and a fragment of the top line. At the first stage, draw lines that are barely noticeable so that they can be easily erased or corrected.
Step 2. On the body of the dragon, mark with ovals where the paws will be located.
Step 3. Draw the paws. Draw the front and back paws according to the template.
Step 4. Tassel on the tail. The tail of the dragon is long and always ends with a beautiful tassel. Adding this important element.
Step 5. Let's move on to drawing the head. We start with the geometry of the head, which can be drawn using an okala and a quad (highlighted in black in the picture).
Step 6. Draw the fiery mane of our dragon. To do this, first draw an oval, inside which the element will be located, and then draw the fiery petals in random order.
Step 7. Next, we detail the face of our symbol of the year, adding eyes and a line of mouth with a small tooth. We direct the main lines of the drawing, performing some detailing on the body and adding a comb on the back. At this stage, we already have such a dragon.
Step 8. Add small elements - claws on the paws, the second line of the tummy, beard. Erase the extra lines previously drawn with a pencil.
Step 9. That's it, the dragon template is ready, now it remains to color it in the desired color. Recall that the symbol of 2024 is the Green Dragon, but you can choose any shades when creating your own drawings for the New Year.
Dragon from the cartoon
Children on the eve of 2024 will definitely like New Year's drawings depicting the cartoon Dragon Toothless. Such a picture is created quite simply, and drawing will not take much time.
Algorithm for creating a picture:
Step 1. Draw eyes. We start creating a dragon by drawing an eye in the central part of our leaflet.
Step 2. Make the nose and lower oval of the muzzle.
Step 3. Draw the outline of the dragon's head, ears and antennae.
Step 4. Add small horns to the top of the head.
Step 5. Detail the face by adding spots on the forehead and dragon ears.
Step 6. Draw the front paws.
Step 7. Detailing the paws by drawing spots and claws.
Step 8. Draw wings.
Step 9. Add clawed hind legs.
Step 10. Coloring the dragon. In the cartoon, Toothless was black and the Light Fury was white, but no one forbids you to create your exclusive baby in a different color.
