May 9 is celebrated in many countries around the world. In some of them, the date is shifted by the 8th, but the meaning of the event does not change from this. This is the Great Victory Day of the Soviet people over fascism. According to all the forecasts of contemporaries, the Soviet Union had no chance to withstand, let alone defeat the enemy. The feat of the Soviet people inspires awe, awakens a sense of patriotism, and also gives a clear idea of what true heroism is and who real heroes are. The spirit of the war years is conveyed by Soviet films about the war. In order to feel the scale of the event at least for a moment, we suggest looking at the most interesting of them.
What holiday is it?
Victory Day is one of those holidays, the history of which does not need to be told, because everyone knows and remembers the feat of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who stood to the end and defeated the Nazis in order to give us a peaceful sky overhead. Let's say to them a big human THANKS!
Every year the country and many other countries celebrate this great day - Victory Day! We congratulate the veterans who are still alive, we remember those who left us forever, as well as those who died directly during the Great Patriotic War and who went missing at the front.
How many tears and blood were shed, how many friends were lost, how many wives did not wait for their husbands, children of fathers, mothers of sons …
This Victory Day smelled of gunpowder,
This is a holiday with gray hair on the temples,
It is joy with tears in my eyes.
Victory Day!
Victory Day!
Victory Day!
