Many parents are starting to puzzle over how to make summer crafts with their own hands. Very often, such a craft is asked to bring to kindergarten or school. If for crafts on an autumn theme, materials in the form of vegetables, leaves and acorns immediately come, then for some reason some of them cannot think of anything on the theme of summer.

Paper fan

- Five flat wooden sticks, can be taken from ice cream. If there are none, try to find plastic ones, but always flat;
- Drill to drill a hole in the sticks;
- Paper;
- Paints;
- Glue.

Summer turtle
What else can be associated with summer if not the sea? And with the sea, of course, there is an association in the form of a sea turtle. This small animal can be taken as an idea for a summer craft.
- A turtle shell can be made from a paper or plastic plate.
- It is turned upside down and then painted.
- It is not necessary to paint it green.
- You can show your imagination and make the turtle colored.
- After the shell is ready, you need to cut out the legs and head for it, also coloring them if they are cut out of white cardboard.
- Then the necessary parts are glued to the base.
- A simple craft in the shape of a turtle is ready!
Even a child who goes to kindergarten can cope with it. Of course, the help of an adult will be required, but it will be minimal.

- You can take the same plastic plate or cardboard as a basis.

If the base is made from a plate, then you need to take two pieces.
- One of them needs to be cut in half to make the wings.

- The wings are attached from above in such a way that they unfold.

Crafts from materials from the sea
What would be the best material for summer crafts, if not pebbles and shells that were brought from the sea? Moreover, you can come up with a great variety of variations of these crafts.
Fish from shells, which will be decorated in the form of an applique. You will need:
- Shells;
- Small stones to decorate the bottom with;
- Good glue for holding rather heavy pebbles and shells;
- The basis where the panel will be placed;
- Decor for the seabed - dried leaves or any handmade decor will do;
- Sand or some other sprinkling that can imitate it;
- Paints, glitters - everything that can be suitable for decoration.
On the base, you need to glue small pebbles to the bottom, then spread thick glue and sprinkle it with sand or other material on top. When the glue dries, you need to carefully pour out the sand that has not grabbed.
Then came the turn of the plants that will decorate the seabed. There should not be too many of them, you can stick several large and long branches. There should be a place for the fish. Now they are already made from shells, shaping the body from a large shell, and from small ones they make a tail or fin.
It remains only to draw or attach an eye. The main work is over. You can color the fish to your taste, pour or glue glitter, add more marine life, for example, stars, to the bottom.
For crafts from pebbles, sea flat pebbles are usually taken. Any size can fit, depending on what you want to portray on them. Usually they are painted with acrylics and then varnished.
Everything is painted on the stones - from landscapes to animals. As a summer theme, you can also choose a turtle or a ladybug, their shape is the same round or oval as the stones.
Pink flamingo
The following craft will really appeal to children of all ages. You can even do it with kids, involving them in this exciting process. To create a flamingo you will need:
- White cardboard, which will serve as the basis for the picking;
- Pink cardboard or any other material from which it will be possible to cut a shape according to a stencil. For example, foamiran;
- Markers or paints to paint the eyes, or two small beads;
- Feathers for decoration.
You only need one stencil to create a flamingo - for the neck with the head.
- But the body can be cut out by tracing the child's palm along the contour.
- It will resemble the body and tail of a bird, as if the bird has fluffed feathers.
- The body, head and neck are glued to the base. Legs can be made from yarn, you can take chenille as it.
- It is quite voluminous and soft.
- If you don't have yarn at hand, then cut the legs out of cardboard or colored paper.
- Now you need to draw an eye on the head, decorate the body with feathers.
- You can add additional decor to the applique by gluing decorations or painting the necessary elements.
