The Japanese kanzashi technique allows you to make decorative items in the form of bows, flowers, stars. The method is similar to quilling, only the products are not made from paper, but from satin ribbons.
The technique is simple. Prepared tapes of 2-4 cm are bent with loops or semi-bows and fastened together. After that, all the components are assembled and glued into a common product.

Stages of work:
- Prepare a tape 2-2.5 cm wide and cut into 5x2 cm pieces. Approximately 80 pieces of pieces are required.
- Take one piece, fold it at right angles;
- The resulting element is folded again;
- The two lower ends on the front side are bent towards the center of the petal;
- While holding the petal with tweezers, it is necessary to singe its lower part. The petal is ready.
- For the basics. Cut the tape (5x5 cm) at the edges to obtain a circle (4 cm);
- Burn the circle with fire;
- 14 pieces of prepared petals are glued to the base, forming the first row;
- 14 petals of the second row are glued to the first;
- 14 petals of the third row are fixed under the base;
- 12 petals of the fourth row are glued to the upper first and second rows.

You will need four pieces of blue tape: two 11 cm each, another 25 cm and another 7 cm long
- The first segment (11cm) is folded at right angles and bent in half.

- Sweep the bottom of the first and second fragments with one thread, without breaking it.
- Pull off the thread by securing both pieces together
