Cinnamon and sugar rolls made from yeast dough, step by step recipe with photo, no eggs

What creates an atmosphere of celebration and expectation of a miracle? Not only an elegant Christmas tree and a decorated house, but, of course, aromas! It is the aromas that we are able to remember for the rest of our lives, and with the help of them immerse ourselves in a state of comfort, home peace and pre-holiday mood. The most New Year's flavors are tangerines, cinnamon and ginger.

We have already written about delicious gingerbread, and now we will tell you how to make cinnamon and sugar buns with yeast. This is a very simple recipe. After completing it step by step, you will certainly get delicious and aromatic homemade cakes.

An important point: this recipe is egg-free, so it is suitable for non-strict vegetarians and those who are allergic to eggs.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 25 grams of live compressed yeast;
  • 50 gr. butter;
  • 400 gr white flour;
  • 250 ml of milk;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • 180 grams of sugar;
  • vanillin;
  • culinary flavoring "Rum" or "Almond" (if desired).

Other Ingredients:

  • cinnamon;
  • sugar for sprinkling (about 150-200 gr.);
  • flour for rolling dough;
  • 50-70 gr. butter for lubrication.

Defrost the yeast and dissolve in warm milk with 1 teaspoon of sugar. Leave on for 10 minutes.

Then add salt, 180 g of sugar, vanillin, flavor and melted butter to the mixture. Mix well. Add 400 g of sifted flour. Stir, cover with a clean towel or cling film, making several holes in it with a knife. Put in a warm place for an hour and a half.

Many modern ovens have a fermentation function. With it, the dough is suitable in just 40 minutes.

When the dough has come, place it on a floured table. It will turn out to be very soft (even watery), but it should be so.

Now you need to carefully roll out the dough into a cake 3-4 mm thick.

Grease the cake with melted butter.

Sprinkle generously with sugar and cinnamon.

Now you need to carefully roll the cake into a roll. It is not necessary to squeeze very tightly.

After that, prepare the baking sheet on which you are going to bake.

Advice! It is very convenient to bake cinnamon rolls on the baking sleeve. The buns do not stick and the baking sheet stays clean by simply removing the sleeve.

After the baking sheet is ready, you need to cut the roll into snails 2-3 cm thick. Dip the bottom of the future bun in flour and put on a baking sheet.

When all the snails are ready, sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar on top.

Leave the buns to come up. If you are using the "Fermentation" program, then for 10-15 minutes. If in air, then 30-40 minutes.

Then bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Alternatively, use the standard bread roll program.

After removing the snails from the baking sheet, cover them with a towel and wait until they cool completely. The buns need to “go through” otherwise they will not be soft enough.
