Everyone wants to decorate their home for the coming of the New Year. In a family with small children, there may be little time for preparation, but you want to please the children and the parents themselves to plunge into the magical festive atmosphere. A way out that will allow you to dress up an apartment quickly and in an original way - use ready-made templates for cutting! How to use a stencil?
The deer Christmas stencil can be used in several ways:
- cut and stick directly to the surface;
- circle the drawing of a deer according to the template and color;
- cut out the figure, fill the hole with paint of a suitable color. You can apply the method of stamping through a stencil: take a small amount of paint with a piece of sponge and apply it to the hole of the template to get an imprint;
- spray paint from a spray can around the stencil. Or spray paint with a brush.
Deer drawing can be applied:

- on the wall of the house outside;

How to cut a stencil of a Christmas deer
You will need:
- thick paper such as whatman paper, cardboard can be;
- breadboard (clerical) knife;
- sharp scissors;
- underlay for cutting. A self-tightening mat for prototyping and handicraft works best. If not, use a clean, flat cutting board, preferably smooth plastic.
Instructions on how to cut a silhouette:
- The stencil can be downloaded online or use ours.
- Print a life-size stencil of a Christmas deer on paper. If it does not work out, glue it neatly from several parts. For cutting, thick paper is best suited, for example, for scrapbooking, or whatman "goznak". Office (for a printer) is also good. Thin paper such as writing will not work - it is soft, it will not work to cut an even silhouette out of it.
- Place the template on the rug. Carefully trace the figure with a knife blade without lifting your hands. Finish small details with scissors. You can use manicure. Done!
Advice! For children of preschool and primary school age, print and entrust them to cut deer stencils easier, without an abundance of small details. Under no circumstances let us work with a knife - this requires a firm hand and excellent coordination of movements, which babies do not yet possess. The child will definitely cope with small scissors, and you will not worry that the silhouette is crooked.
