Many little girls dream of becoming sorceresses or beautiful fairies. Of course, you can buy a ready-made suit in the store, but it will be much more pleasant for a child to create this miracle together with his mother. We bring to your attention a photo master class on creating magic wings for your daughter.
To work you will need:
- Metal hangers (or thick wire).
- Flesh-colored nylon tights (optional, colored).
- Multi-colored ribbons.
- Acrylic paint.
- Sequins.
- Colored rhinestones.
- Brush.
- Scissors.
- Transparent glue.
- Scotch tape (adhesive tape).
- A small, long piece of dense fabric.
First you need to create a frame of the wings from metal hangers or thick wire. Bend it in the shape of a wing, secure the junction with tape. Check whether the resulting seam is firmly held, whether parts of the product do not come apart on the sides. Make the second wing in the same way. In order to further fasten the two wings together, leave on them a small piece of wire curved straight ahead, in place of the back. That's all. The frame is ready, now you can connect your child to the work, believe me, he will gladly take part in this.
Take nylon tights and stretch them in such a way as to fit over the frame of the wing. After the wing is covered, tie the nylon tightly so that it does not fall off and does not form irregularities. It should lie flat.
We connect both wings using adhesive tape and the "bridge" that we left with you at the initial stage.
Holes in the wings (if desired) can be carefully burned with a lighter.
And here it is - the most interesting moment of the whole work. Decorate the fairy wings! Ask your daughter to help you or entrust it completely to her. The child will be happy to take an active part in this process. Using acrylic paints, give the wings the desired color. You can draw circles or fancy patterns on them. Rhinestones, sequins, sparkles, beads - whatever you and your daughter want will be suitable for giving the wings the necessary colors and shine. After completing the work, let the wings dry before finishing.
The Fairy Wings are dry and you are ready for further work. So all that's left is to create the mount and design it. To do this, take a long thick fabric and fold it in the shape of an infinity sign. Try it on your child's shoulders, wrapping the fabric around the arms, if everything fits, then proceed to securing. Take the tape and fix the fabric tightly at the junction of the wings. If you wish, you can decorate it with sequins or other decorative elements.
To mask the central part of the piece, take multi-colored ribbons and wrap them around the "bridge". Let them be of different lengths, this will only add zest.
Now you can call your daughter for a fitting. The wings are ready, which means that she can feel like a real fairy. So, having allocated only half an hour and a minimum of materials, you can spend an exciting time with your child and create a real fairy tale for him with your own hands.
