Another interesting fact that most of us don't even think about is the "stolen day" . In fact, everyone who works “for a salary” in February works 1 day more, although they receive a regular salary. In the state of Maryland, it was even officially proposed to make the extra day of a leap year a holiday, but the idea did not catch on.
There are about 4 million people in the world who celebrate their birthday on February 29th. According to statistics, the probability of being among them is estimated as 1:1461. Pope Paul III and the poet John Byrom (don't confuse with Byron) were born among famous people on the "extra day" .
