We continue to compile our 2024 calendar and in this article we will talk about what February will be interesting for, how we relax on Defender of the Fatherland Day, and how holidays and weekends of the last month of winter are distributed in the production calendar.

Defender of the Fatherland Day

In February, there is only one all-Russian holiday - Defender of the Fatherland Day. We will celebrate it traditionally on the 23rd. In 2024, the holiday falls on Friday, which will give you 3 days off in a row (from 02/23/24 to 02/25/24 inclusive).

The holiday will be preceded by Thursday 02/22/24, which means that this working day will be shorter by 1 hour.

February production calendar

The coming year 2024 will be a leap year, which means that the calendar for February will include 29 days, of which:

20 workers (including 1 reduced hour - 22.02.24);
9 days off including 23.02.24.

There are no additional days off in February, as the government decided to move the three extra days that New Year's January gives us to the May holidays in 2024.

Thus, in February there will be only one period of long holidays, when they will rest for three days in a row, from Friday 02/23/24 to Sunday 02/25/24.

In addition to the federal holiday, the second month of 2024 is also rich in unofficial dates, which can be a great occasion to meet your loved ones and create a festive atmosphere.

The most popular date in February among young people is 02/14/24 - St. Valentine, or Valentine's Day. This year the holiday falls on Wednesday.

It's worth noting that the date 02/14/24 is also a professional computer day, so don't forget to congratulate everyone who is somehow connected with the IT field.
