Craft a hedgehog with your own hands step by step: step by step instructions for school and kindergarten, a photo, a master class for making a hedgehog at home

A child at school was given the task of doing a hedgehog craft with his own hands, but he does not know how to be - what material to use, what kind it will be (applique, volumetric figure or panel), you should not worry, everything is doable. If you do not have your own ideas, it is enough just to refer to the ready-made models posted on the Internet.

Find the necessary material, be patient and get to work. This can be done together with the child, because the time spent together will bring not only benefits, but also a lot of positive moments.

Cones

Before you start making a hedgehog craft from cones, you need to take care of the preparation of the material. The cones are boiled in almost boiling water for forty minutes.

The goal is to remove the resin from them, so it's best to prepare disposable dishes. In addition, do not forget about the simple cleaning of cones from debris and insects.

The boiled cone opens to the maximum, and begins to resemble a hedgehog with needles sticking out in all directions. Now all that remains is to dry the material, and then you can start working on the craft.

You can add to the craft:

  • Plasticine,
  • Leaves or other materials.

In the first case, for example, there will be a wonderful opportunity to fasten some elements. Both the animal's face and legs, along with other parts of the body, will be made of plasticine.

If you put multi-colored dry leaves on the hedgehog, you get an autumn craft, where you can also put small plasticine apples and fungi that the animal carries on its back.

From paper

A hedgehog made of paper will also be a good craft option. The materials are simple and accessible to everyone. Yes, and such an occupation will not take much time. In order to be able to start work, there must be:

  1. Sheets of brown cardboard;
  2. Sheets of cardboard of any color that will be lighter than that brown.
  3. Compass;
  4. Black marker;
  5. Glue stick, or PVA;
  6. An ordinary simple pencil;
  7. Scissors.

The manufacturing process itself is not that complicated;

  1. It doesn't matter if you get a big hedgehog or a small one. Both the one and the other will come out very beautiful, you just need to think over them in advance. Then you need to draw a couple of circles on a piece of brown cardboard.
  2. Each circle is divided into two halves, since the figure should consist of three cones. Therefore, one of the halves will be superfluous.
  3. All three halves are twisted into cones, their edges are well sealed. There should be three equal brown cardboard cones.
  4. Now you should deal with the thorns of the animal. To make them, the edges of each of the cones are cut into small strips, only in one of the halves.
  5. This means that the thorns will be located only on the back and slightly on the sides of the animal's body, and at the bottom of the cone, the cardboard remains intact.
  6. The cut should reach approximately the middle of the workpiece. When the stripes are done, you can fold them up to give the appearance of thorns.
  7. The cones are glued together, but so that a small space remains.
  8. Now you should make the head of the animal the same as shown in the photo of the hedgehog crafts. It also consists of a cone, but only one, and it is smaller than those used to create the torso. This means that the circle cut out of cardboard should be smaller than the previous ones.
  9. The resulting cone is cut into two equal parts, and then only one of them is used. Now we need to check - the head should be neither more nor less. If errors are found, then they will need to be corrected.
  10. After the work is completed with the body, you can draw eyes and a nose for it. In addition, no one forbade adding additional details, thanks to which the craft will become unique.

From seeds

It may be surprising, but it is quite possible to make a beautiful hedgehog craft from seeds. For this you will need:

  1. Plasticine;
  2. Clay or salted dough;
  3. Matches;
  4. PVA glue;
  5. Leaves;
  6. Sunflower seeds.

This hack will take a little tinkering, but it's worth it.

  1. The first thing to start with is making the body of a hedgehog. To create it, clay, salted dough, or white plasticine are perfect.
  2. Clay is best, but not always available, so salty dough is a great substitute.
  3. You can make it yourself from the available ingredients: one glass of flour is mixed with one and a half glass of salt and half a glass of water. Knead the dough from this mixture until it becomes smooth.
  4. You can sculpt anything from it, after a while it hardens and the product becomes durable. Blanks are made from it - the bodies of animals.
  5. Now it's time to tackle the needles on the backs of the hedgehogs. Sunflower seeds will serve as a material. You will have to tinker with the attachment of the needles for some time, since they must fit snugly together. The thorns will be stacked row by row from bottom to top. The sharp part of each seed must be pressed into the workpiece.
  6. To achieve greater strength of the product and to avoid the seeds flying out of the body, it would be nice to lubricate each row with PVA glue. This will make the craft even stronger and guaranteed not to fall apart.
  7. The whole body is filled with thorns, but there is an empty space for the muzzle.
  8. After all the needles are in place, you need to take the matches and break off their heads. They will serve as eyes for hedgehogs. The nose is molded from plasticine. If you have time before the dough begins to freeze, then it will perfectly attach to the face.
  9. Fungi and apples can be made from the same material, and then laid on the backs of the animals.
  10. You can also decorate this kid's hedgehog craft with colorful leaves. For example, it will be good to put them under the bottom, as if animals are walking through an autumn forest.

As you can see, making a hedgehog craft with your own hands is not at all problematic and will not be difficult, especially when the material used for it literally "lies under your feet."

In addition to the listed methods, there are many others that can be easily borrowed on the Internet, and people of a creative nature can come up with something of their own.

But no matter what the craft is, it will definitely look great at the school exhibition and will be to the taste of other guys.
