In every children's educational institution, special attention is paid to fire safety, and educators are trying in every possible way to instill this knowledge in children. Describing the features of the use of certain firefighting equipment.
Parents, in turn, should also tell their children about fire safety, and the best solution would be to do this in a playful way by making all kinds of crafts.
Application
Among the children's crafts on the topic of safety during a fire, the manufacture of an applique should be noted. This version of creativity will be interesting for both preschoolers and students in grades 1-2.
The applique looks pretty funny with the use of children's palms. To do this, take a sheet of paper and leave an imprint of a child's palm on it, previously placed in a container with red paint.
You need to glue a hat to each fingerprint and draw a face, so 5 funny firefighters will be formed.
At an older age, you can perform a composition-type applique. Here you can create a fire engine and a burning house from which you can see smoke. To depict these elements, you can use colored paper or dry autumn foliage.
Matchbox fire truck
Among the most common crafts on the topic of fire safety, one can single out a matchbox fire engine. To make such a craft, you must perform the following manipulations:
- The base of the machine is made up of 4 boxes, which are stacked in two rows.
- The fifth box is placed in the top center, creating an imitation of the cabin.
- All parts are glued together to form a rigid frame.
- The workpiece is very carefully pasted over with red paper on all sides.
- White paper is used to create the windows, and yellow circles are glued in place of the headlights.
- The fire escape is formed from 2 parallel wooden skewers and transversely placed matches. Plasticine is used to secure the stairs.
- The wheels can be taken from old broken toy cars or cut out of cardboard.
This version of the craft is quite suitable for presentation, both in a preschool institution and at school.
Firefighter Paper Water Hose
If you need to provide a craft related to firefighting activities in the kindergarten, you can stop at the manufacture of a firefighter's water hose.
To create this craft, you will need the following materials:
- An empty roll of toilet paper;
- Colored blue paper;
- Scissors;
- PVA glue;
- Black handle.
Having prepared these materials, you can directly start making crafts. Stripes are cut out of blue paper, they will act as water. The strips are glued to one end of the toilet paper roll.
To indicate that this is a water hose, an inscription with a name can be left on it.
Using salted dough
If there is a task to prepare a craft for school on the topic of fire safety, then the ideal solution would be to use such material as salted dough. Any figure can be molded from the dough, but the dough must be prepared in advance.
To prepare the dough, you will need the following products:
- 220 g of salt;
- 220 g flour;
- 130 ml. sunflower oil;
- 1-2 tbsp water;
- Colored gouache.
Next, flour and salt are mixed in a separate plate. The remaining products are added to the resulting mass and the dough is kneaded so that a uniform color is formed.
Any figures are molded from the dough - a fireman, a car, a fire extinguisher. Then all the figures are thoroughly dried.
There are several options for drying products. If this is not in a hurry, then the crafts can simply be left in the room, but away from the hot battery, since otherwise the figures will crack.
If the products are already needed for tomorrow, then they should be placed in a cold oven, and then dried at a low temperature.
Plasticine crafts
Among the hand-made crafts on the topic of fire safety, there are quite a few options from plasticine.
This material allows you to create both volumetric figures and applications on cardboard. Using plasticine of different colors, you can easily mold a fire engine, stairs and firefighters.
Using this material, children will not only be able to learn the features of fire safety, but also receive minimal skills in needlework. If you have talent in the visual arts, you can create a real picture of the ashes by telling your child in detail about the negative consequences of playing with fire.
Volumetric crafts
Studying the photos of crafts on the topic of fire safety, one can also note voluminous projects. But making them requires certain creative skills.
There are several options for creating voluminous crafts:
- Volumetric figure. An example is a bonfire, which is one of the most common causes of fires. Logs are laid out on a cardboard sheet, which is a thick paper cylinder. In the middle there is a flame, which is pre-cut from red, yellow and orange paper.
- A three-dimensional picture in the form of a double-leaf postcard made of thick paper. On the inside of one of the halves, various figures are glued to the previously bent edge: a fire, trees, firefighters, which are pressed with the help of the second sash. On the second half, an appliqué or pattern is formed.
For older children, more complex craft options are available. For example, you can create a composition "extinguishing a fire" using different elements, a constructor, plasticine, matches.
This version of the composition is suitable even for regional or city art competitions.
Each of the presented options for crafts will allow the child to better plunge into the topic of fire safety. If from childhood, even in a playful way, explain to the child how dangerous playing with fire is, then in the future it will be possible to avoid a lot of troubles.
