Who among us has not cut snowflakes out of paper at least once? Probably, there are no such people. The tradition of decorating windows and a house with protruding holes is one of the oldest and most beautiful New Year's traditions. Previously, paper snowflakes were cut out by folding a leaf (here are templates for such snowflakes), and more recently
a lot of stencils of openwork snowflakes appeared. They are cut out with a breadboard knife or sharp small scissors.
It is these stencils that we have collected for you in high quality. You just need to click on the selected picture and print it on a printer (in A4 format), and then start cutting.
You will need:
- a breadboard knife or small sharp scissors;
- special rug or cardboard,
- stencil printed on paper.
A little trick: if you do not have a printer, you can accurately redraw the template with a simple pencil directly from the monitor (to “light”). Unfortunately, this will only work on simple stencils.
For small children, it is better to choose the simplest protrusions. Ready-made snowflakes can not only be glued to the windows, but also decorate a Christmas tree with them or assembled into a large paper garland.
Another interesting easy way to make a beautiful snowflake is to cut it out of a laminate backing instead of paper.
This material is very soft, but at the same time it keeps its shape well. It is sold in hardware stores and is inexpensive. Looks like the photo.
This is what happens in the end. Such large hard snowflakes are perfect for decorating spacious rooms: a school, or a kindergarten. Especially if you grease them with glue and sprinkle with glitters! Beauty, and more! :)
