Educator's Day in 2024, as in the past, falls on September 27th. The holiday is considered one of the youngest in the education system, which date has been recently determined to celebrate it. It was established thanks to the initiative members of all-Russian pedagogical publications: various magazines and newspapers. The purpose of the event is to draw the attention of the government to the country's preschool institutions in order to improve working conditions.
In the production calendar, September 27 is a working day, in 2024 it falls on Friday. History of the celebration
Despite the fact that the first kindergartens appeared more than 100 years ago, attention was paid to the speci alty "educator" relatively recently. For the next four years, congratulations were still accepted in October, as few people knew about this decision. In 2008, they made an all-Russian survey on the demand for the holiday.A year later, it became official for all residents. But the order itself is under No. 703-r. came out much later - April 18, 2016. Since that time, Teacher's Day has been celebrated by all regions of the country.
