Mushroom glade salad with mushrooms and ham, photo recipe

Mushroom Glade salad is an ideal treat for any festive table. The New Year's celebration is no exception, where a delicious dish decorated with champignons will become a welcome guest! It will add a touch of variety to the usual menu for this holiday. After all, along with traditional dishes, something non-standard, but very tasty, should be served.

"Mushroom Glade" looks amazingly elegant. With its excellent appearance, the salad reminds of a distant summer, when greens and mushrooms grow wildly. It will make a great contrast with the traditional New Years Olivier and Herring under a fur coat. Guests will be delighted with the beautiful, delicious and satisfying Korean carrot and ham salad!

Ingredients:

  • canned mushrooms - 150 g;
  • potatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • "Korean" carrots - 100 g;
  • ham - 200 g;
  • pickled cucumbers - 2-4 pcs.;
  • hard cheese - 100-120 g;
  • mayonnaise - 150 g;
  • dill and green onions - 1 bunch.

Preparation

You should take high-quality canned mushrooms. They should be approximately the same size and not damaged on the caps.

Place the mushrooms, feet up, in any suitable container. The bottom of the container should be flat so that the flip salad will have the correct shape as a result. Previously, you can line the bottom and walls of dishes for preparing salad with cling film. But even without this, the salad is perfectly laid out on the dish! Then you should chop green onions, dill sprigs, sprinkle them on the intervals between the mushrooms.

Boil the potatoes until tender, cool, peel, and then grate on a coarse grater over mushrooms and herbs. It is best to boil potatoes well in advance so that the salad assembly does not take long.

Lubricate the surface with a thin layer of mayonnaise. “Mushroom glade” will be juicy even without a lot of mayonnaise.

Pickled cucumbers must be finely chopped, carefully laid on top of a layer of mayonnaise. If the cucumbers are large, then 1-2 pieces are enough.

Then chop the ham and place in a bowl with salad.

Put Korean-style carrots on top of the ham, flatten.

Grease with the rest of the mayonnaise.

Grate hard cheese.

Put the salad in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. During this time, it will be saturated with mayonnaise and there will be no problems when turning it onto a dish.
