At the same time, a series of natural disasters will move from one extreme to another: from large-scale fires to multi-day showers. The rains will be so heavy that it will lead to floods in many countries. Oceania and Australia will be hit hardest. The French prophet also predicted earthquakes that would begin after volcanic eruptions.
But the most ominous prophecy is considered to be the unprecedented force of tsunamis, which will appear after a comet falls on the planet. As a result, the African continent will suffer the most, where famine and disease will begin.
Predictions about geopolitics and the world
According to Nostradamus, by 2022 a situation provoking an armed conflict will develop in the geopolitical arena of the world.Many states can be drawn into this war. But at the same time, the prophet argues that the period from 2022 to 2041 is the last in history when the start of a war is possible.
Relations will escalate due to the large influx of Muslims that will flood the Old World. At the moment when their number approaches a critical level, they will begin to dictate their own rules, as a result of which an armed conflict may occur. It will be possible to localize it - the flow of emigrants from eastern countries will be stopped by the French government.
In other quatrains of Nostradamus it is said that only two countries - India and China - will emerge victorious from a major armed conflict. The war will begin because of the rivalry between the two states - the United States and China. But people will die not only in war - a hitherto unknown virus will appear, from which there will be no salvation.

It is impossible to answer this question unequivocally. Someone does not believe himself, but what can we say about some French thinker? Even during his lifetime, the works of Nostradamus were criticized: astrologers pointed out numerous mistakes, and his very first prophecies did not come true, which brought serious trouble to the author.
Nevertheless, modern experts believe that the prophecies of Nostradamus come true with a 70-80% probability. And researchers and historians believe that prophecies are the clearest example of medieval mysticism and eschatology.
