KIA Sorento 4
The Kia Sorento will be the first crossover to be built on Hyundai's new platform, which has so far been used only for the Hyundai Sonata and Kia K5 sedans. The 2.5 T-GDi petrol turbo engine (281 hp, 421 Nm) will not appear in the European range, although it will replace the aspirated V6 in the US and Korean markets. But the hybrid Sorento will be available in Korea, Europe and America. A 1.6 T-GDI gasoline turbo four (180 hp, 265 Nm) is installed under its hood, and an electric motor with a capacity of 60 hp is built into the six-speed "automatic". The peak output of this tandem is 230 hp. and 350 Nm. But the capacity of the lithium-ion traction battery located under the floor is only 1.49 kWh.
The new 2.2 turbo diesel from the Smartstream family has an aluminum block and weighs 38 kg less than its predecessor. Although the recoil almost did not change: 202 hp. and 440 Nm. Diesel cars are equipped with an eight-speed "robot" with two clutches. All-wheel drive with a rear axle clutch will continue to be available as an option. A full-fledged plug-in hybrid will appear later.
In Europe, where the crossovers will be supplied from Korea, they will be covered by a seven-year warranty (or 150 thousand kilometers), and the production of the car for the American market will be established at an enterprise in West Point, Georgia. The start of sales will take place in the third quarter of 2020.
Kia sportage
The next generation of KIA's flagship SUV in 2022 will receive a truly new design and significant technical improvements.
The new Sportage will get the same platform as the Hyundai Tucson. The compact crossover will be powered by a 2.5-liter 190-horsepower gasoline engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Also, Kia Sportage will receive a hybrid power plant based on a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. The output will be 230 hp.
The official presentation of the updated Sportage is scheduled for the summer of 2021.
Hyundai santa fe
The new body of the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe got other headlights with T-shaped DRLs, visually combined with a modified radiator grill. Restyling affected not only the exterior, but also the internal details. The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe redesign includes the body, transmission and engine lineup.

Special attention was paid to the comfort of the novelty. The seats have received a new frame, elongated seats with lateral support, lumbar, headrest and height adjustment.Top trim levels will receive leather upholstery, and all models are equipped with an extended armrest for the driver.
The basic version of the second front-wheel drive Duster uses a 1.6l, 144hp engine. and a torque of 156 N / m. The motor is running with 5 manual transmissions.

Hyundai creta ii
Hyundai has unveiled a second-generation family version of the Creta crossover, named after the Spanish medieval fortress Alcazar. The new Hyundai Alcazar will enter the market with a six-seater and seven-seater saloon, as well as petrol and diesel engines with 160 and 115 horsepower.
The appearance of the Alcazar, as it was already clear from the teasers, is sustained in the corporate style of Sensuous Sportiness, complemented by embossings on the sides and multi-tiered head optics characteristic of the Creta soplatform. The main differences between the newcomer and the donor are in the wheelbase "stretched" by 150 mm (up to 2760 mm), an extended rear overhang, rear struts with an additional side window and a completely redesigned stern. The latter, in particular, will allow you to recognize Alcazar by the bumper, horizontal diode lamps with C-shaped "dimensions" and the tailgate, the brake light from which "moved" to a compact roof spoiler.
The engine range of the three-row SUV will be represented by only two engines. One of them is a 2.0-liter gasoline "aspirated" with a capacity of 160 hp. and 192 Nm of torque, while the second is a 1.5-liter 115-horsepower (250 Nm) diesel from the Indian version of the Creta. Both units are combined with a six-speed "mechanics" or a classic six-speed "automatic", as well as front or all-wheel drive.
Toyota Land Cruiser 300
According to preliminary data, with the change of generation, the "300th" will lose the 4.6-liter V8 engine - it will be replaced by a more environmentally friendly biturbo "six" 3.5 series V35A-FTS with a capacity of 415 horsepower. In addition, there will be a hybrid modification (about 480 forces) and a 3.3-liter diesel engine.
In length, the novelty will reach 4970 millimeters, in width - 1985 millimeters, and in height - 1870 millimeters. Thus, it will surpass its predecessor by 20 millimeters in length and by five in width, but at the same time it will be 10 millimeters lower. The distance between the axles will increase by 50 millimeters, up to 2900 millimeters. The SUV will be offered in five- and eight-seat versions.
The official premiere of the SUV was pushed back to September 2021, and the price increase relative to the current Land Cruiser 200 in Japan will be about 500 thousand yen (about 366 thousand rubles). There is no official confirmation of this - the company itself is still silent about the future of the model.
Bmw iX
The design of the new BMW iX is in the SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle) style. If you believe the intentions of the designers, then for the implementation of the novelty, flat surfaces without broken lines are used, which in turn create the impression of confidence and reliability. For comparison, the new BMW iX fits the dimensions of the new BMW X5 in size, but in height it is closer to the BMW X6.
The basis for the electric crossover was 20 ″ alloy wheels, available as an option 21 ″ or 22 ″ APW wheels, which are 15% lighter than the standard 20s. The reduced weight of the discs has helped to increase the range on a single charge of the batteries.
If you believe the words of representatives of the BMW iX 2021, then the model received the thinnest optics installed on the company's production cars. The list also includes hidden sliding door handles, side doors without frames for glass and a tailgate for the entire width of the body.
The technical characteristics of the new BMW iX will also surprise you. The power plant consists of two electric motors with a total capacity of 500 horses (370 kW). This power is enough to accelerate the electric car from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 5 seconds. According to measurements according to the WLTP standard, the new 100 kWh battery is capable of providing the electric car with a range of 600 km without recharging. It turns out that 31 kWh is enough for 100 kilometers of track.
Ferrari purosangue
The first crossover in Ferrari history will begin production in 2022, followed by the Italians to develop two more SUVs.
Ferrari Purosangue will receive a hybrid power plant, but its followers will be equipped with all-electric units. The cars, currently known internally as F244 and F245, will arrive in 2024 and 2026. They will be equipped with four electric motors with a total output of 620 hp. and an 80 kWh lithium-ion battery with quick recharge function.
The first Ferrari crossover is expected to cost at least $ 230,000.
Honda hr-v
Honda has unveiled a new generation of the 2022 HR-V crossover. A Japanese version of the model called Vezel was also presented. The car received a new coupe-like body with narrowed headlights, a hexagonal radiator grille, a long hood and stylish taillights.
The car is equipped with the uncontested hybrid e: HEV unit, consisting of a 1.5-liter gasoline engine (96 hp), a continuously variable variator, a motor-generator, a traction motor and a lithium-ion battery. The novelty is built on the VSZ modular platform, which also underlies the Hyundai i20 hatchback. The crossover reaches 4180 mm in length, 1775 mm in width, 1490 mm in height, and its wheelbase is 2580 mm. On the market, the model will compete with the Ford Puma, Volkswagen T-Cross and Nissan Juke.
The Bayon engine range includes two units: a 1.2-liter aspirated engine with 84 hp. and a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engine with either 100 or 120 hp. Both motors get a 48-volt electric superstructure in the mild hybrid system and will be mated to a manual or automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive only.
The novelty will enter the market in a few months. It will be possible to buy a 2022 Hyundai Bayon model year from 23,500 euros.
Hyundai Tucson 4
The basis for the Hyundai Tucson 2021 was the previously presented Vision T concept, which was finalized only in certain details. The interior of the new crossover will largely depend on the configuration (basic or top-end).
According to the manufacturer, under the hood of the new Hyundai Tucson there may be:

- diesel 1.6-liter engine with 115 hp;

In Europe and Russia, the novelty should be expected in the first half of 2021. In the home market, the new Hyundai Tusan will cost from $ 20,600.

Hyundai has launched a new line of electric vehicles, the Ioniq, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 midsize crossover is its firstborn. In the strict exterior of the crossover, you can find references to the company's first independently designed and produced car - the Pony hatchback, which is already forty-five years old. The new electric car of Koreans looks actual and conceptually.
The crossover is built on the modular platform of the Koreans E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform). Chargers are offered for 400 or 800 V. There is a possibility of charging via a household network. The power reserve is 470-480 km for versions with the most capacious battery.
The car will hit major markets around the world in the summer of 2021. In Europe it will cost from 41,900 to 50,000 euros. In Russia, the crossover is planned to be sold at the end of 2021.
Renault Kiger
The crossover is built on the CMF-A + platform, which is also used by the Nissan Magnite and Renault Triber models.
Renault Kiger will be offered with 1.0-liter petrol engines: 72-horsepower naturally aspirated and 100-horsepower turbocharged.The first engine works in conjunction with a 5-speed manual or robotic Easy'R gearbox, the second - with a 5-speed manual gearbox or XTronic continuously variable variator. Front-wheel drive only.
In India, prices for Renault Kiger will range from 550,000 to 950,000 rupees (about 575,000 - 993,000 rubles). Sales will begin in 2021.
Volkswagen taigun
The Tiguan is a bestseller in both Europe and the United States. Now Volkswagen, after launching its factories, has introduced an updated model, the Tiguan 2022, which aims to increase sales by improving its greatest strengths - design, convenience, equipment and attractiveness.
All trims are promised the same turbocharged 2.0-liter i4, which makes 184 horsepower and 229 Nm of torque when paired with an 8-speed DSG. There is a choice of both front-wheel drive and an all-wheel drive version, which includes a third row of seats.
Volkswagen Tiguan 2022 will hit dealerships in October 2021. Prices will be announced closer to the start of sales in the US.
Mercedes GLC
The novelty is based on the same platform as the next generation C-Class. It is expected to share much of its interior design and technology highlights, including the latest MBUX infotainment system.
The 2022 GLC should only start with electrified powertrains. The lineup will include mild-hybrid gasoline and diesel units, as well as several plug-in hybrids.
The AMG GLC 63 will get the ubiquitous 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 469 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque in the current iteration, and 503 horses and 700 Nm in the 63 S spec. Aurus Senat S600 became the first officially presented production model on a single modular platform from the "Cortege" project. It is extremely difficult for ordinary citizens to buy a luxury sedan worth over 18 million rubles, since the production volumes are still small.
Representatives of the company Aurus expect that their most popular model in the lineup will be the luxury SUV Komendant - the premiere of its production version is scheduled for 2021, but sales of the novelty will begin only in 2022.
