OGE in 2022: required subjects, changes, list, news

After the quarantine years 2020 and 2021, the Ministry of Education hopes that in 2022 the OGE for 9th graders will be held in a standard format. We propose to talk in more detail about what the Compulsory State Exam for graduates of the 2021-2022 academic year will be, what compulsory subjects are to be taken by schoolchildren (what will be the full list of available disciplines), and also what important news and changes are possible in the coming year.

Cancellation of OGE 2022

Although in 2020 and 2021, due to a difficult epidemiological situation, 9th grade graduates were exempted from passing the OGE, this control format will not be completely canceled!

The Ministry of Education does not even consider the option of completely canceling the OGE in 2022, since, first of all, the data collected during the examination campaign is needed to assess the quality of knowledge and build a further trajectory for the development of education in Russia.

At the same time, it is possible that, by analogy with the Unified State Exam, in 2022 the OGE will be allowed not to pass to those children who do not intend to go to colleges and technical schools, but will continue their studies within the walls of their native school. Instead of the OGE, this category of 9-graders will be able to pass final exams in compulsory subjects in the format of a test.

Dates of the

In 2022, they do not plan to shift the dates of the OGE. The exam will be held in three stages - early, main and September. The OGE will still have an oral interview, which 9th graders will have to pass in February.

If the epidemiological situation allows, then in 2022 the OGE will be held on the following dates:

  • early period - from late March to mid-April;
  • the main period is from the end of May to the end of June;
  • retake - the first half of September.

A more detailed OGE calendar for 2022 will be approved closer to November 2021. But, taking into account the practice of past years, in the event of next outbreaks of coronavirus, significant adjustments can be made to the exam schedule.

Mandatory subjects

Recently, there have been many rumors regarding the addition of new subjects to the list of required items for passing on the exam / exam. This is especially true of the OGE in a foreign language, which many unofficial sites have declared mandatory since 2022. But is it? Do not rely on rumors in this matter, which are often misleading and increase the already immense excitement of graduates.

Among the sources, the information of which can be 100% trusted, it is worth noting:

  • FIPI website;
  • Rosobrnadzor portal;
  • website of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

How many subjects to take in 2022 will be decided by the graduate himself. As a rule, 9-graders take 4 exams - 2 compulsory and 2 optional.

Thus, in 2022, the compulsory subjects for passing the exam will not change. As before, there will be two of them - Russian (written form) and mathematics.

Optional items

In addition to compulsory subjects in 2022, 9th graders will be able to choose additional disciplines necessary for admission to a college or technical school from the standard list:

  • foreign languages;
  • history;
  • social science;
  • computer science;
  • physics;
  • chemistry;
  • biology;
  • geography;
  • literature.

Important! Winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren, as well as members of the national teams of the Russian Federation, are exempt from the OGE in a subject corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad. For this discipline, they are automatically given the highest score.

Retakes

Schoolchildren who received an unsatisfactory result on the OGE in one or two subjects can retake the exams in the fall at an additional time. If a graduate has not passed the minimum threshold in three or more subjects, he can take the OGE again only next year.Also, the year will have to wait for those who "fill up" the retake in the fall.

Graduates of the 9th grade who did not pass the OGE in 2022, by the decision of their parents, either remain in school for the second year, or instead of a certificate receive a certificate of education in the established form. In the second case, you can take the OGE again in a year.

The same rules apply to ninth-graders who have unsatisfactory annual grades and are not admitted to the OGE.

OGE results

The results obtained in primary points (the sum of points for correctly completed tasks of the examination work) are transferred to a five-point scale. For each subject for the OGE in 2022, there is a minimum number of points that must be scored for a positive assessment.

An appeal of disagreement with the points awarded can be filed at your school within two working days after the day of the official announcement of the results of the OGE 2022 in the subject. In this case, the exam participant will be invited to the appeal committee.

Since Russian colleges accept applicants without exams, in order to enroll a 9th grade graduate in 2022, it is enough just to pass the OGE for positive marks, get a certificate and present it to the admissions office. Since the OGE scores affect the final grades for grade 9, and colleges conduct a competitive selection according to the average score of the certificate, a student in 2022 needs to pass exams as best as possible. For ninth-graders who plan to continue their studies at school, the marks for the OGE-2022 are also important. After all, it is the result of the exam that serves as a criterion for enrolling in specialized 10th grades.
