The first period includes a full eight weeks. Study time will pass without additional holidays and weekends. The second quarter also assumes 8 weeks. But at the beginning of November, schoolchildren will not study for three days. Russia celebrates National Unity Day from 4 to 7 November. The longest third quarter will start after the winter break and will last ten weeks. Eight weeks of the fourth quarter will begin after spring break from March 21 to 27.

The difference between the trimester form of study
