Paramount's animated feature Monster League has been rescheduled for February 18, 2022, Variety reports. It was originally scheduled for release in July 2020 and was first delayed in November 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
League of Monsters is directed by Hamish Mane from a screenplay by Mane and Matt Lieberman, based on a graphic novel.
Plot
The main character of the cartoon Winnie lives in an unusual world where monsters coexist next to people and compete with them in the popular sport - Monster Wrestling. The girl dreams of becoming a trainer of monsters, like her father, and takes under her wing the Loser Cutie, who has to go a long way from an unknown beginner to a champion.
