Reasonable attitude towards PVC bags means their reuse. Even if the bag cannot completely avoid the trash can, then a person can delay this moment. This direction of environmental propaganda devotes a special place to crafts from cellophane bags.
Any packaging can be turned into a work of art. Such creativity is cheap and brings pleasure to all participants in the process, especially if they are children.
The state of our planet in the future largely depends on the formation of the correct attitude towards polyethylene in babies.
Knitted rugs
You can give a second life to a bag using a crochet hook. Among the crafts made from milk bags, woven rugs are especially popular. Such coatings have several valuable qualities:
- Strength and durability. They will last a long time, even if you wipe your street shoes on them several times a day.
- Resistant to moisture. Suitable for bathroom or toilet.
- They massage the feet perfectly.
- They make it possible to refine the interior outside the house (outdoor shower, sauna).
For such handicraft, thick colored bags are suitable not only for milk and dairy products, but also for salt, seedlings, and medical products. The selection of bags is not a matter of one day, you will need to be patient. You will be doing a good deed on behalf of a large number of people.
Important! One family is unlikely to quickly provide you with consumables, so you will have to confiscate packages from relatives and neighbors.
The production of polyethylene "thread" is as follows:
- The used bag should be cut off the hard joints (top, bottom).
- The resulting pipe must be washed and dried.
- Cut ribbons about 2.5 cm wide (each at your discretion).
You need to cut the pipe in a spiral. To do this, you should line the package with stripes with a slope of 1.5 cm. First, draw on one side, then we make the continuation of the stripes on the other side.
When cutting, long threads are obtained, which are sewn together. To reduce the hardness, it is better to rub the tape with your hands (by the type of washing).
Cellophane toys
Making toys from bags is a very exciting experience. This is especially useful for children with their parents:
- Babies develop fine motor skills, perseverance, accuracy;
- Parent-child contact is being established;
- Children form the correct attitude towards garbage.
Even in the process of creativity, if the kid spoils something ˗ it's not scary, because such crafts are made from garbage bags.
Such toys are often assembled from pom-poms, which, in turn, consist of plastic wrap. We form such a rustling ball as follows:
- You will need two rings of a thick cardboard base.
- A thread / tape is made from cut cellophane (often garbage) bags (it is better if the material is multi-colored).
- Polyethylene "yarn" is wrapped around the stencil in a spiral so that there are no gaps.
- The scissors are inserted between the halves of the cardboard ring and the winding is cut in a circle. In parallel, a synthetic thread is threaded into the groove, the product is tightened and tied.
The larger the stencil, the wider the strips can be cut, and the larger the size of the ball itself will be.
Important! When calculating the size of the pompom, keep in mind that it may need a haircut to give it a shape.
The child can have fun with the "rustle" itself, but the game will be more interesting if you combine several pieces into a funny little animal.
You can build almost any pet from these packages: chicken, rabbit, dog. At first glance, few people will be able to determine what such an animal is made of.
For work, you need to prepare the eyes and nose in advance. The child can sculpt them himself from polymer clay or light plasticine, which freezes in air. You may also need a piece of wire to make the frame.
Flowers
To extend the life of a plastic bag, you can help it "turn" into a flower. Brightly colored bags will serve this purpose, even pieces of film or old raincoats, tablecloths will do.
In addition, you need to stock up on:
- Buttons, bottle caps (middle of flowers);
- Pieces of wire or plastic (stems);
- Synthetic threads, fishing line (for connection).
Progress:
- The polyethylene needs to be cut into strips and, folding in loops, form the head of the flower.
- The shape of the petals will depend on the width of the ribbons, and the splendor will depend on the number of turns.
- The common edge of the loops should be tied with a fishing line to connect the whisk together.
- Sew on the middle with the same thread or glue.
- The main thing is that it contrasts in color with the petals.
- Fasten the head of the flower on the stem-wire carefully in order to hide the mount from the bottom of the pile of petals.
- So we got a kind of chrysanthemum.

They are not afraid of rain or heat, and even in a vase they will look very impressive. It is also important that the cost of such beauty will be minimal.
Christmas tree
You can buy a Christmas tree at any store during the Christmas holidays, but you will have to pay a big sum for it. A handmade Christmas tree will bring much more pleasure to both adults and children. You can use all the same PVC bags for this (preferably dense and green).
In addition to the polyethylene itself, you will need to have in your arsenal:
- Plastic or wooden sticks,
- Wire,
- Glue gun,
- Scotch,
- Thick cardboard.
The sequence of actions is as follows:
- Tree trunk. We glue the plastic sticks together and attach the wire branches to them. To avoid displacement of the branches, they should be secured with tape.
- Branches. We cut strips from bags 5 cm wide.On one side (along the strip) we cut the fringe.
- We create splendor. By winding the ribbon around the wire branches, we form fluffiness. If the branches do not seem voluminous enough, you can fold them in half (this will shorten them, alas). On the trunk of a tree, the fringe must be wound especially carefully in order to avoid "bald patches".
- Stand. Cut out rectangles from cardboard and glue the cruciform base. We fix the tree on a stand with tape or hot glue.
- Christmas tree decoration. Such a Christmas tree can easily withstand small plastic toys: you can safely hang balls and rain.
Door wreath
Decorating a door with a wreath is now more and more popular. However, its fragility makes you think: is it worth it to spend money on such a decor. A paper bag craft wreath can be a budget option.
The very material of such packaging looks very unusual. If you crumple it, then it is similar in color to stale newspapers, old postal envelopes.
For creativity you will need:
- The packaging bags themselves,
- Solid foundation
- Glue,
- Decorations.
The wreath is assembled like this:
- Tapes of the required width (3-5 cm) are cut. They need to be crushed a little, rubbed in their hands (aged).
- Spiral-like loosely wind the ribbon around the base of the wreath. It is better if it is dense, because the decoration must withstand the constant slamming of the door and the wind.
- We fix the decor on the wreath. Depending on the theme of the holiday, these can be: spikelets, cones, yellowed leaves, Easter eggs, a rabbit.
