To create bath bombs, you need special round shapes, which can be found in handmade themed stores. They are transparent round balls, divided into two halves.
Round molds can be successfully replaced with any others, for example, yogurt jars, kinder surprise boxes and any other beautiful molds.
Recipe for a mixture for creating bath molds for 3 bombs:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 12 ml. any base oil;
- a teaspoon of water;
- flavors optional;
- dye optional.
Step 1
Combine baking soda and citric acid in a large cup until smooth.
Step 2
Add 12 ml to the mixture. hemp oil and mix thoroughly so that the bombs do not fall apart later.
Step 3
Add flavorings based on personal preference.
- For relaxation, use essential oils of geranium, bergamot, ginger oil.
- Citrus oils - orange, grapefruit, lemon will help to cheer up and relieve fatigue.
- Mandarin, vanilla, and cinnamon are considered traditional New Year's scents.
Step 4
Use food coloring that is non-marking and safe on the skin to decorate the bombs. In our case, we use a pale pink dye.
Step 5
Check the moisture content of the resulting mass. To do this, squeeze some of the mixture in the palm of your hand. If it falls apart, then you need to add a teaspoon of water. It is better to do this with a sprayer so that the water evenly covers a larger surface.
Stir the mixture thoroughly to make it look like wet sand.
Step 6
The bomb mixture is ready. Now we fill the molds with it. If you have a round shape, put a little more mixture in one half of the mold and connect the halves with force. Twist them left and right so that the mixture fills all the empty spaces in the mold.
After that, carefully remove the mold and leave the resulting bomb to dry for 8 hours.
