The topiary is called the "tree of happiness", so it is perfect for the New Year's interior. Do you need happiness in the new year? Cones are an attribute of the new year, they should be allowed into your New Year's decor. And now we combine: topiary, cones, happiness. What happened? That's right, New Year's topiary of cones. For the first master class, you will need:
- Styrofoam ball (found in craft stores)
- stick / branch;
- mixture for the base (otherwise the topiary will be unstable) - you can take gypsum;
- foam is also suitable for the base;
- tipped pins;
- instant glue;
- pot;
- pot paint, artificial snow, moss, tinsel, etc.
A few tips - do not forget to paint your styrofoam ball, otherwise you will see white gaps that will ruin the future topiary. If a mixture is used for the base, then the stick or branch must be inserted when the mixture has not yet frozen. Cones need to be disinfected - rinse, dry and "fry" a little in the oven at a temperature of 300-360 °. Frying time - no more than 10 minutes.
For the second cone tree you will need:
- the same natural materials;
- newspaper, magazines, unnecessary waste paper;
- a package in which you will need to fold the crumpled paper;
- food film;
- rubber;
- any decorative elements - artificial snow, snowflakes, sparkles, etc.
First you need to crumple the paper, then you need to fold a ball out of it, and then wrap it with cling film. We put on the bag and fix it on top with an elastic band. Cones can both be inserted (again, you need pins for this), and glued. We decorate our New Year's topiary and put it in any beautiful pot. We have got a wonderful element of decor "with our own hands", which absolutely everyone can make. Such an ornament can be used instead of a Christmas tree, if suddenly this year it was not possible to buy it, or an artificial one broke. But here it turns out that the living forest nature is in the house, and there are no crumbling needles.
