Creating appliqué decor for the New Year 2024 is a simple but fun activity for kids. Most of the crafts are quite simple and the children of the lower grades will cope with them quite well, and the kids will need the help of their parents. - red double-sided cardboard;
- corrugated green kraft paper;

Production:
- Cut out an A3 rectangle from a sheet of red cardboard.
- Glue strips of double-sided tape. You can glue it in two ways - parallel to each other or in a zigzag.
- Cut the corrugated paper into strips 2 cm wide.
- Glue the strips a little tucking together - we got elegant green frills on the Christmas tree.
- String beads on a thread and decorate the Christmas tree with a garland.

Penguins on an ice floe

To work you will need:
- blue cardboard;
- colored paper - black and orange;

- two cotton pads;
- voluminous eyes - 4 pcs;
- glue stick;
- scissors.
Production:
- Cut out the main details according to the templates - from black paper 2 torsos of penguins, from orange - 4 paws and 2 beaks.
- Cut out ice floes from foamiran.
- Let's start assembling the picture - glue "floes" on the blue cardboard

- Glue on the torso - tummies from cotton pads.

The dragon is the symbol of 2024
Appliques with the symbol of the coming year (2024 is the year of the Dragon) always look advantageous and are popular. This craft can be made as a postcard or decorate the New Year's interior of the house with it.
To work you will need:
- dragon printed cardboard;
- colored and glitter foamiran on an adhesive basis;
- ready eye;
- scissors.
Production:
- Cut the foamiran into squares 0.5 by 0.5 cm in size - you can choose the colors to your liking.
- Lay out the image of the dragon using the "mosaic" of foamiran from each square, first remove the protective layer, freeing the adhesive surface.
- Glue the eye.
- You can leave the background around the dragon white or ask the kid to draw a fabulous jungle.
The work will be very elegant if you use glitter foamiran.
Postcard "Mitten"
The card is made in the technique of three-dimensional appliqué. It is not at all difficult to make it, and a variety of small bright details are suitable for decoration - bows, beads, snowflakes, sparkles.
To work you will need:
- double-sided cardboard (any color can be);
- white glue-based foamiran;
- small details for decoration;
- scissors;
- glue.
Production:
- Cut out the mitten blank according to the pattern.
- At the base of the mittens we make a “white” foamiran lapel (you can use white felt, velvet paper and even a piece of fur)
- Next, decorate the mitten - you can entrust this part of the work to the child, let him show his imagination.
- On the back of the card, glue a white rectangle for congratulations.

To work you will need:
- white disposable cardboard plate;
- white, pink and red paper;
- big plastic eyes;
- cotton wool or synthetic winterizer;
- glue;
- scissors.
Production:
- Cut out the main details according to the templates - The big red triangle is the torso and the hat.
- Cut out a circle from pink paper with a diameter equal to the bottom of the plate.
- Glue the circle to the plate and cut off about a quarter.
- We place Santa's "head" on the red triangle so that both the hat and coat are visible. Fix with glue.
- Glue the eyes and nose (a small circle of red paper).
- Cut long narrow strips from white paper.
- Twist them with scissors and glue on the beard and mustache.

Work order:
- From a blue sheet we prepare a blank for the base in size A3.
- Cooking according to the blank parts template.
- Fold the details of the tail and wing like an accordion.
- On the base-background, first glue the torso, on it the tummy.
- Now ponytail.
- For the wing, fold the accordion in half along the long side and glue both parts.
- Paste the wing.
- Then the eye and the beak.
