DIY fruit crafts step by step: 110 photos of original ideas for fruit crafts. Instructions how to do

DIY fruit crafts are especially popular in the season. They can be made from any fruit, especially since in the summer there are often surplus crops left.

In addition, such a product can be made together with a child, and then brought to an exhibition in a kindergarten or school.

How to work with fruits

  • Before proceeding with the master class on creating crafts from fruits, you need to prepare the material. To do this, all products must be well rinsed and dried so that they do not deteriorate prematurely. You should also handle your hands;
  • All handicrafts made from products are not stored for long, so they need to be eaten as soon as possible or will have to be thrown away;
  • If the craft is being prepared for an exhibition, it should be dealt with immediately before the event itself, because the product will have time to lose its "marketable" appearance;
  • Any craft should stand on some kind of foundation. This point also needs to be thought out and assembled directly on the basis, otherwise, when transferred from place to place, it may simply fall apart;
  • You can sprinkle lemon juice on the fruit. It slows down the browning of peeled and cut fruits.

Lemon mouse

For an initial fruit craft for children, a lemon mouse works well. For such a craft, you will need a minimum of materials:

  • Lemon;
  • Knife to cut individual pieces;
  • Stem from any greenery to make a mustache;
  • Black peppercorns for beady eyes.

Since the lemon has a shape similar to that of a real mouse, you don't need to trim anything. The fruit itself will be the body for the little animal.

It is necessary to cut only a small part from the barrel so that the mouse stands firmly on the table and does not roll. Do not rush to throw out the cut part - you will need to cut off the ears and cut out the tail from it.

For the peephole, you also need to make small indentations and insert peppercorns there. Cut off the stem from the green bundle and divide it into six small equal parts, inserting them in the form of a mustache. The mouse is finished.

Pear hedgehog

You can use a pear hedgehog as an idea for making fruit. A minimum of materials will be required:

  • Body pear;
  • Light grape berries;
  • Toothpicks.

You need to position the pear so that the narrow part will be the head. The branch must be cut so that it does not stick out. You can even trim the elongated part slightly to accommodate the spout. For this, you can use whatever is suitable.

Most often, they take half an olive or dark grape and string it on a pear. Also, you need to add eyes to the face, which are also cut from black berries.

It remains only to shape the body. To do this, a toothpick is stuck into a pear around the entire perimeter, and only then a grape berry is strung. The pear hedgehog is ready. Such a craft can even be put on a festive table both as a decoration and as a treat.

Apple machine

In the photo of fruit crafts, you can see another simple composition - an apple machine. All you need is an apple, toothpicks and grapes.

The apple must be cut into slices, 4 circles for the wheel must be cut out of the grapes. The wheels are fixed to the base with toothpicks.

The protruding wooden parts can be trimmed. Quite a simple craft that even a child can handle on his own.

Watermelon pig

If you are thinking about how to make a craft from fruit to spend a minimum of fruit, you can try watermelon pig. The main thing is to choose an oval watermelon and cut it correctly so that its crust will then fit into the craft.

The upper part is cut out of it, so that its side part with a few centimeters from the top remains intact. A muzzle will be made from this part.

Cut out eyes from any other fruit, patch, ears and fix them on the front part.

It remains only to think about how to fill the inner part, because one crust will not look very nice. You can cut balls out of the watermelon pulp and fill the void with them.

You can also put the pig as a basket for fruits and fill the body with them already. The original version of the craft can be a decoration for the festive table.

Banana dog

The banana shape is perfect for making a dachshund out of it. This will require one whole fruit, and from the second a small part to make a head out of it.

The step-by-step instructions for this craft are not complicated:

  • It is necessary to cut the head from the trimmed part of the fruit so that the pulp remains less than the peel. From this "extra" peel, now you need to form the ears;
  • Attach legs to the banana body so that the concave part of the fruit is at the bottom. The tail of the fruit will be an extension of the dog's body and repeat its real tail;
  • It remains only to draw eyes on the muzzle peel and fix the head to the body with a toothpick.

Owl

Unlike other types of crafts, this product will not have its own shape and will not stand on its own. Better to collect it on a plate. What will be needed:

  • Pear for the trunk;
  • Kiwi to make wings and eyes;
  • Dark and light grapes.

The pear needs to be cut lengthwise to get an elongated body. Two circles for the eyes are cut out of the kiwi. Pupils are cut out of dark grapes, and claws are cut into small slices.

Slices are cut from light grapes into wings. Then the whole craft is laid out on a plate. You can also add a small twig or stick, as if an owl is sitting on it.
