Do-it-yourself military crafts step by step: a master class for making crafts for February 23 (photos, templates + instructions)

The military theme is considered to be very extensive. Almost every person has formed his own idea of military operations, military personnel, powerful equipment and camouflage colors of clothing. Today we will talk about do-it-yourself military crafts.

In our material, several techniques are presented that allow you to create exclusive products using scrap materials. The results of needlework can be used for school or kindergarten exhibitions, as well as festive paraphernalia for February 23 and May 9.

Smoke Grenade Workshop

How to make a military craft at home? When choosing a needlework technique, you must take into account the age category. For example, teenagers will surely appreciate making a smoke grenade.

To create such a product you will need:

  • Enamelled saucepan;
  • Potassium nitrate;
  • Granulated sugar;
  • Tablespoon;
  • Cardboard tube;
  • Bright dye;
  • Simple pencil;
  • Rope-wick;
  • Paper tape;
  • Matches.

The steps for creating a military-themed craft include the following steps:

  1. Place the dry extract of potassium nitrate and granulated sugar in an enamel pot. The ratio of the components should be equal to 3 to 2. These substances do not pose any danger to the body. In order to generate a lot of smoke during ignition, it is important to observe proportions.
  2. The mixture of dry ingredients must be boiled down to a peanut butter consistency.
  3. Further, a little bright dye can be added to the cooled solution if desired. However, remember that the brightness of the smoke can be controlled by the amount of coloring pigment.
  4. Now the mixture needs to be placed in a cardboard tube. Place the pencil neatly in the center. This hole will distribute the wick evenly.
  5. Cover the surface of the cardboard tube with paper tape. Small holes must be left at the top and bottom.
  6. Our product is ready. Now it is enough to take it out of the room and carefully set it on fire with the help of candles. These smoke grenades are often used for wartime themed photo shoots. This handicraft technique was developed for children and adults, whose age category reaches 16 years old. The photo of the military craft shows the finished result.

Military binoculars

Such a military craft can be used for an exhibition in a kindergarten.

To work, you will need the following tools and consumables:

  • Two cardboard sleeves;
  • Yellow plastic bag;
  • PVA glue;
  • Green colored paper;
  • Thin elastic band;
  • Wine cork;
  • Colored black paper.

The process of creating a military craft with your own hands consists of the following stages:

  1. Cut out round elements from a plastic bag of yellow shade, which allow imitating the glasses of binoculars;
  2. The wine cork must be dyed black. This will require water-based acrylic dyes;
  3. We glue the cardboard sleeves with green colored paper;
  4. We connect them to each other using PVA glue. Glue the wine cork in the upper part;
  5. In the side parts of the binoculars, we make through holes for an elastic band, which will help fix it on the child's head.

Soldier from a cardboard sleeve

This option of military crafts can be chosen for a thematic exhibition at school. What do you need for needlework?

To do this, use:

  • Roll of toilet paper or cardboard. If you don't have a cardboard tube at hand, you can make it yourself from light-colored cardboard.The advantage of the second option is the ability to adjust the height of the future soldier;
  • Acrylic paints in dark green, beige, white, blue, black shades;
  • Simple pencil;
  • Plastic stopper;
  • Thermal gun.

Progress:

  1. First, the surface of the cardboard sleeve must be decorated. For this I use a brush and a set of acrylic paints. We draw an imitation of a military uniform. Clothing should combine beige, black and brown stains.
  2. The plastic cork must be painted dark green. It will act as a safety helmet. Cut out a visor from the cardboard, which we will later glue to the plastic base.
  3. Draw the hands of a soldier on a light-colored cardboard. We paint the sleeves of the uniform in the colors present on the soldier's clothes. We carefully cut out the blanks and fix them to the body with a heat gun.
  4. We draw an automatic machine on cardboard. For its coloring we use black and brown dyes. Using scissors, we cut out a weapon for a soldier. Next, we fix the military decor to the cardboard base.
  5. Now you can go to the soldier's face. Draw the eyes with blue and white paint. Draw the pupils in black. Draw a smile and a nose with a thin brush. On the head we fix the hat, in the center of which we draw a red star. Our soldier is completely ready!

greeting card

This technique can be developed for different age groups. The craft is a postcard, the design of which is made in the military theme. It has red carnations, eternal flame and a soldier's helmet.

For work you will need:

  • Corrugated paper in red and green shades;
  • Scissors;
  • Simple pencil;
  • Glue;
  • Yellow, red, brown and green cardboard.

Progress:

  1. Fold a sheet of cardboard in half. On the inside of the postcard, we write congratulations on the thematic date. Here you can also draw a picture dedicated to a military event.
  2. Let's move on to decorating the front side. It will be decorated with 2 scarlet carnations, a soldier's helmet and an eternal flame. Let's move on to creating flowers. Before that, we cut out long strips from corrugated paper, the thickness of which should be at least 3 cm. Cut the upper edge with scissors. Thus, it is possible to create the effect of a fringe, which, when twisted, add splendor to the flower.
  3. The stem and leaves are made of dark green paper. We glue all the details to each other while forming a beautiful floral decor. Using the same technique, we make the second element.
  4. Cut out a star from brown cardboard, from which an eternal flame will come out. We cut out the element and glue it to the front side of our postcard. Using the same technique, we cut out a bright yellow flame. Draw bright orange streaks inside the tongues of fire. We glue the details to the hearth.
  5. Now you need to cut a soldier's helmet out of the dark green cardboard. With acrylic paint in a bright scarlet shade, draw a star. Cut out the detail and fix it to the overall composition. The finishing touch will be the location of the scarlet carnations. Such a product can be presented to veterans on May 9.
